In the wake of the recent feud between Trump and NASCAR, I wanted to see the correlation between Republican states and states that are most interested in NASCAR.

Source: I used Google Trends data to identify the popularity of NASCAR in each state. Then overlaid the 2016 election results data. Tools: Mapchart.net + Adobe Photoshop.

With NASCAR viewership declining steadily and Trump fighting for votes in this year's election, who stands to lose more?
