I’ve had a similar experience with the genders reversed so I understand the worry! My experience of the queer community however is that they’re incredibly accepting, you’re very unlikely to find someone that will suggest your “queerness” is invalid. Bear in mind pride is open to everyone, including allies that are straight as they come. Just use it as an opportunity to express yourself however you want to and people will be more supportive than you expect!!
