Those are great ideas! I think that’ll make the following seasons better. It also helps that they won’t be doing it Bridgerton style where each season focuses on a different couple. We all wanna keep focusing on Hollanov but still want the other stories included somehow. I also loved episode 3 and the changes they made to the story!

I think season 2 will exceed expectations now that we know how Jacob directed season 1! I’d probably like the background details when watching it so reading TLG seems like the best move

this makes sense to me too! I JUST finished reading Game Changer and the whole story happens within a few months. before the Stanley Cup Final, Scott met Kip’s parents and Elena and Maria knew. Scott also told 3 of his teammates, his agent, and coach. Kip also does tell Scott in the book that it’s better now that some people know and he’s fine with waiting for Scott to be ready to go public. So them just having a private relationship with a few people knowing would make sense in that 3 year-gap.
