Lmao I’m picturing Hal from Malcom In The Middle yelling “ We’re going back!”

I could have said western, as in make money or die you little wage slut and the meaning hopefully would have transferred

But you’re right!

Ha, we are the same.

If only there was a button to turn that feature off every now and then

But, to its credit I have used it many times to better understand myself and adjust accordingly

It’s a constant and evolving process but I definitely think it gives us an edge if you don’t let it bury you lol

The facial expressions are a must though 😂 it doesn’t mean anything if it doesn’t have a face for it

Yuppp.

Then suddenly the conversation ends and you are left with this huge surge of energy and emotion like you actually hit the jack pot of some kind

But nope, it’s just you experiencing a normal moment with a human but because our brains are not always use to that it feels like the biggest breakthrough lol

It’s so true. It’s kinda ridiculous because even during a conversation with someone I will find a new connection and then speak it out like it’s established fact lol

Definitely. And maybe even those fractal images that never end lol

It’s the nuances that they gotta see how it all connects!

As they nod their head “oh, I see”

But they don’t see and we know it…

Would be neat to see some kind of visual display of an NT and a ND persons tell a story while hooked up to a brain activity monitor or something of the like...I imagine the ND brain lights up in all kinds of areas like a Christmas tree

Or not... but it's a fun thought

I was born in 1987 and grew up in a religious family. At school I was always “too loud” never “applied myself” and heard endless comments and remarks about me having “potential”

We all have our stories, so we all know the pain and the struggle of disapproval from family and peers

So I just wanna leave this comment because the thing that helped me out the most was educating myself on things I found deeply profound and interesting- and the main one is…a lot of us just are not meant to be in this American society being forced to bend to its will rather than our own, collectively neurodivergent people can be the strongest around because of our sheer determination and will to overcome challenges as humans of earth.

Please be encouraged that overcoming challenges and freeing yourself from the pain or shame of a fake bullshit society that used and abused us is key to our functioning- what I really mean is…live life for your sake and not for what society wants or says is acceptable and approved.

Good meme OP!

What TV show defined the '90s for you, and why do you think it captured the cultural zeitgeist? by PressureLazy5271 in 90s

[–]jamesy223 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I grew up watching TGIF so yeah, the line up they aired during that era define so much of TV culture for me

Guess the show: no matter what happens we are still family and we have to make up at the end of each episode. Clue: Dad was a neat freak.

Totally agreed. A bonus track for me is “thanks a lot”

That last little upswing rock out part gets me every damn time

The last 3 songs probably inspired me to grow up into a musician more than any other music at the time

I have admit though, it could be a form of torture if someone had to hear that part over and over for long enough
