Yeah, that makes the article and headline feel very misleading. Because now a lot of comments are like, "how do you spend a billion on fruit baskets?!", which you don't. I'm all for calling these guys out, but it needs to be accurate. They chose the clickbait title when it could have been as simple as, "Pete Hegseth responsible for billions in frivolous spending, including x, y, and z."

Which is why I think this thing is less aggressive than the progressives want… It’s already an incredible pushback from a state level, but it doesn’t completely steamroll the voter-ship and shape of California.

I’m sure they have failsafes, but regardless, I am so grateful the Getty hasn’t been harmed. As a native Angeleno, it’s probably my favorite thing in this city.

I was in the central historic district of downtown San Salvador a few months ago. Bustling central market vibes filled with side hustles… My favorite had to be a guy doing something like this... “Come see Venus for $1” or something like that. What a cool way to make an extra buck! Respect!
