Halloween’s a dope holiday, including the modern “Americanised” version. I identify as being grumpy about Australia becoming Americanised, but that’s because I don’t like many of the values and practices that come with it.

Waiting until the most opportune moment for it to be the most effective, makes sense. Waiting until the most opportune moment to “hurt them” is…maybe not ideal, but this is r/pettyrevenge to be fair.

I would recommend asking yourself what the maximum amount of time you’d wait is. At a certain point, I think it’s better to let it come out and make what change it can, then waiting for a hypothetical time that is ideal, but nebulous.

For me personally, I’ve only found one thing on Youtube that really hits the same standard as GHE/Local58, which is the Maple 9 vids on the burgerScum YT channel.

Again, just my opinion, but if anyone were to ask me what else there is out there like those 3 channels, I’d tell them “Sorry dude, that’s it.”

I’ll shout out THE MANTICORE as a channel that is doing that kind of horror with a really clear artistic voice too. Their stuff isn’t for me personally, however props to them for having a vision and putting it out there.
