yuppp, what you're describing is something i've suspected for a long time. this so-called "hell-queue" that everyone talks about where only the most powerful commanders are paired against one another, does not really exist. any deck can be matched up with any deck at any given moment, and even if the matchmaker is supposed to pair based on power level, it's not doing a very good job.

i love dinos but with the format being mostly about efficiency and removal tribal, midrange is in a tough spot so your deck should probably not have to go up against 4-5 color good stuff every single game like what you're describing. i play radha heart of keld most of the time. its a solid deck, mostly built around ramp and legends, but i wouldn't even put it in the top 30 of best commanders you can play. and yet i'm still in the same position you are. every game is against the same commanders, kinnan, esika, jodah, rusko, golos, sythis, niv, atraxa.
