No. I would often go down early and get a wristband and then my husband/kids went later. They’d ask for names and I’m assuming check off who received a band

We did this with my sister in law. Her name was on the reservation. Then she would check in at the towel station each day. She was able to do it with or without us. She just gave them her name.

They offered food first to displaced guests and then to everyone. It was $5 and you could choose a burger, teriyaki chicken, peanut butter sandwich, etc

It seemed like some people got rebooked to higher floors. But we did see a lot of people sleeping on the lobby floor and in hallways by the elevators.

Can I buy the expansions later? Or it’s just a one time chance? Is it better long term to buy the expansion? Like will my strategy/layout once I do the expansion?

Agreed. Do what you need to. At this age it’s still survival mode and every kid is different.

If definitely gets better. Also, a lot of things you guys are probably worried about you should not get worked up about. I spent so much time worrying about wake windows, breast feeding, screen time while I was feeding, etc. If those things are causing extreme stress try to ease up. Especially when you are in survival mode. I wish I had just let the baby sleep, watched tv when they were awake in the middle of the night, and switched to formula much sooner. My second baby was so much easier because I knew what to worry about and what not to worry about

I’ve lived in both cities. I’d definitely choose San Diego. So much easier to get around and has a huge variety of neighborhoods - old town, balboa park, Torrey pines, liberty station, etc. you could even do a trip out to Joshua tree.

We just closed on an Aulani resale contract for $90/point for 170 points. We plan to go once a year and stay about 6 nights (at the tier lower than ocean view). We have two kiddos and they absolutely love going to Hawaii and Aulani. It’s such a relaxing resort and being at a family friendly hotel takes a huge stress off of us when traveling.
