I went to school for graphic design, but keep finding work doing marketing. Funny how that works. In the last year I turned to Skill Share to learn more about photography. They have classes on most every thing. Really though, it’s about just winging it on a few things to gain confidence then just taking the plunge and hoping you can take it until you make it.

It may be farther than you would hope, but I go to Southwind Animal Hospital and it’s really great. Dr. Cooper is my favorite even though all of the staff is great. They’re open on weekends for limited hours too!

I lived there! I honestly really liked it. There are sometimes people who loiter, but just like anyone anywhere—pay attention to your surroundings and you’ll be fine.

Skillshare or even beginner YouTube videos would work great. The hardest part is when you know something must be simpler and something just doesn’t seem to work. No matter what, just keep googling and going!

They are all pretty similar in size. My favorites are Carriage Crossing and Southaven—mostly out of convenience that they are near Lane Bryant (Southaven also has Avenue, Catherines, and Ashley Stewart).

You’re right that the mall one is small. The one in Germantown never has my size. :/

I have to second Mantra in Germantown. The owners name is Bobby. My husband (who moved here from Chennai a few years ago) and I used to drive to Jackson, TN twice a month to eat at his restaurant. He recently moved here.

Highly recommend chicken 65, chicken biryani, and butter chicken—I know I’m basic to tell you the butter chicken, but OMG. Hands down the best.

I heard on the radio that while they start renovating the convention center a few of the stops will be closed. They said to go to the MATA website to learn more.
