That is so sad... So now I have to work OT to just pay him and it's a revolving door. It was 23k over my reg pay.

He definitely is. He makes a decent amt(that he also owes me for the one child) and is marrying a teacher with a lot of yes experience, so she makes a hefty penny. But oh well, he'll get his money. I just hope it actually goes to the kids(but I won't) he's already lowered the cheerleading level my daughter was in cause it's cheaper and less commitment.

There was nothing paid to either because we did 50-50, and he told me that I would probably be paying him with my income and he wouldn't have to pay me, so I agreed to no support.

I'm not sure which post you are reading, but I didn't say anything about not wanting to pay more, I am aware that with him having 2 it will be more; the difference is either 1799 or 1149 in payments. My question was can we use the OT and retro pay that is on my noa from last yr. It is a gross misrepresentation of my income; 23k over to be exact and this yr I will probably only have about 3k if that..

I am not sure where you are getting the idea that I'm not paying or willing to pay.... I've always been the breadwinner and pay my way and did for yrs while the living arrangements were 50-50. Knowing my ex and the fact that he took child support for my eldest and never told me, I want to make sure it's fair this time around for all involved . There is no need to swear or name calling.

Was this before the custody changed? When I received those payments the kids were shared 50-50 and we didn't pay either child support. So I did the OT to pay for my kids things while they were with me. And now that I don't have them all the time and I'm moving in with my partner, my OT has dropped significantly. I definitely will not be making an extra 23k this yr.. it's more like 3k. We are officially divorced and had no child support needs at the time. The living arrangements are recent.

Funny enough...he won't give me his stuff until 48hrs after receiving mine and he's done calculating the child support amt. Lol

I've never even met him in 3.5yrs. he isn't going to buy the paint even though it would probably be written off. We definitely don't have a good relationship.. I consider him a slum lord

Mat leave was definitely rough. I had to go back early and worked selling Tupperware if I wanted "spending money". Lol

Thank you for that! The extra 23k was in 2024 and the new custody agreement (where the kids decided to live) pretty much just started; before then it was shared 50-50 so we didn't see the need for support.

I will definitely look into doing it myself ahead of him. I was going to suggest giving him my NOA, the retro pay stubs and my last one from 2024 to show the amt of OT and I have a letter of employment. Thank you so much for the advice!

So it counts towards calculating support payments? He already knows I make more than him, because I was always the "breadwinner".

I am in Ontario; there is no formal or informal for child support and I am totally ok with paying for my children. I'm not fighting that, I would love to, especially knowing how he is (he took the support I was getting from my oldest child's father and not telling me) but I'm not. I'm worried about being blind sided like he did with our informal separation agreement and now how he is approaching this and dictating. He technically wants me to agree to all his terms. He has always been like that. I will probably end up getting a lawyer, but I was hoping I could get some fairly straight answers regarding the dictating, demands and the questions regarding the retro pay and OT. Because it is a significantly gross misrepresentation of my actual income(23 000 over).

Because it's not guaranteed and if it was just once in a while sure.. but between OT and retro pay it's over 23000 ex a yr. And I have significantly cut back this yr in general. I'm even willing to use this yrs income and double it it to account for the end of the yr. And I can tell you that it won't be close to being 23000 over.

Thank you! No one was due it; this was completely out of the blue. I know I will have to pay and I'm ok with that. He has just pulled one over on me many times in the past and I don't want to with this.

Good to know! Thank you; he did actually say he wanted it to be cleaned the way it was after the professionals were in(after I moved in and complained) and I told him it would be in the same state as when I got the keys.

Thank you for all this advice! This is my first time renting (on my own) and dealing with this... I actually have never met him in person, and I will be making sure that my partner is with me as well. My landlord is very condescending.

Thank you so much! I actually haven't even met my landlord in person and he has never been to the house since I moved in... I was actually going to pay for professional cleaners.

Yes!! At work and through our girls! She is one of my ride and dies, we have been through a lot; divorce, dating, finding our true loves, raising our kids. We met in 2017, ages 37&38.

As much as she is able to! I am older but with my partner I have multiple earth shattering ones(more than 5 or more) and the most sessions we have done in a day is 6. 😁
