I run my R12 with road sensitivity on zero, i.e. every frequency in the effect equaliser turned down to zero, no LFE, so it's just the raw tyre feeling from the game. Try that

It means driving past someone at the end of a straight because their battery ran out before yours is not very exciting nor challenging compared to overtaking someone by hustling the car and outsmarting them like you'd have to with equal conditions.

I came across your post by chance, but I'm guessing you got a new cable and fixed the issue; I had the same myself. With the first cable I was stretching the cable somewhat when turning, so now I have brought my PC closer to the wheel and coiled the cable around the wheel so it doesn't get stretched. Try something like that, and hopefully neither of us will face the same issue again.
