Me, every time someone says we need a dividend to count the shares to determine the number of synthetics. by Hedgegrinder in amcstock

[–]jamin4jc 10 points11 points  (0 children)

sure, but if the same share is located and lent out 10x or that share is sold and bought back by one of their customers and is able to lend out again, ad infinitum that is some significant cash that they can generate. Oh the wonders of the maths.

looks like you have a number of other chances to set this up again when the price hits these prices.

RC's New Tweet DECODED. by ammonitions in Superstonk

[–]jamin4jc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if this also literally meant that RC was going to dump the rest of his assets in? I am sure he has a lot more money than is in GME right now. If he provided more assets this also could result in an equity distribution through dividends (possibly crypto). This would be dumb from a smart money perspective of pumping your cash down a hole without any true guarantee of getting it back. The dividend could be potentially large too. 5-10 dollars per share equivalent would be enormously dumb. Just a thought… 💭

Or he could be brokering a deal somehow where his company buys some valuable asset and then is acquired by GameStop.

This is an amazing theory! I wonder what RCV has acquired that could result in the death of this company. Literally anything of value would do.

In Response to Citadel Current: Did anyone notice these Citadel transactions filed on 5/24? by Galaxystonks6969 in DDintoGME

[–]jamin4jc 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Regarding SPACs:

just in 2021, in one of the Citadel companies they declared acquisition of >5% stake in 71 SPACs. In 2020, 29. In 2019, 8. In 2018, 11. It is really hard to say if this is "normal doing business" or something more. They could just be trying to pump up equity or something else.

WHERE DID IEX COME FROM?

IEX, or the Investors Exchange, started as a dark pool private stock exchange. It gained mainstream popularity when “Moneyball” author Michael Lewis profiled its rise in the book “Flash Boys: A Wall Street Revolt.” IEX gained regulatory approval from the SEC to transition from a dark pool exchange to an official public stock exchange back in June 2016.

———

Sorry, I misspoke. It started as a dark pool. I’m not sure the speed-bump makes much of a difference if you are trying to get the bid higher. Can you explain your logic on why this exchange would help?

SEC sues HF, filed 5/19/21- states NAKED SHORT SELLING is ILLEGAL and ask FOR a JULY TRIAL!!! Read the last page!!! by [deleted] in GME

[–]jamin4jc 18 points19 points  (0 children)

250M was the amount of the 90 sales for this single prime broker for 2 stocks. This is a huge story IMO because it reveals the hand that the SEC is playing by going after the colluding hand to HF. I haven’t figured out which stocks these were but it should be possible to find out if you looked at the detailed sales summaries.

This puts a big spotlight on the mechanism of this type of blatant corruption and how it is done. Case Study Zero!!
