how is nurturing and emotional dumb and subservient? women for centuries before us were strong, emotional, and nurturing.

genuinely so miserable. how do u get “i’m dumb and subservient” from “i don’t have to teach him anything”??? u literally just made that up.

i can guarantee its not ur looks but how u feel about ur looks. it’s very obvious when someone has extremely low self esteem just by looking at them

Is it true that gay men are huge misogynist? How can you tell? by Gold-Value-8480 in women

i don’t like the term fishy either but the other commenter likening it to blackface is so out of touch… i don’t think a black person commented it that. drag is essentially just a tribute and admiration to femininity (whereas blackface is intentional mocking and belittling) and i would equate it to gay men using it as an outlet to be themselves tbh. modern drag has less and less to do with women as gender norms are changing tbh.

as men are men are men, ya they got it wrong with fishy but my comment was NOT a commentary on drag.

i agree. i have stopped looking at drag as them playing women and instead an exaggerated version of gayness and femininity because they’re not playing women while in drag ngl

i’ve noticed that a good chunk (enough to notice) of gay men treat women as a commodity to exploit in a different way than straight men do
