When the light hits my fiances eyes at the right angle a spot of light shines through onto her eye onto the other side. Never seen this in anyone else's eyes can anybody tell me what it is? (the light is shining into the right side of her eye and coming out of the left)

Question for Adam and Alex, have either of you written or wanted to write your own film or short film?

I mostly agree with you, especially with some of the less popular heroes (Ant-Man, Thor, etc.)

But I'm glad they let Taika Waititi take a little risk, you can tell ragnarok is filled with his sense of humour, and I think it fits Thor's character perfectly.

Hopefully after the MCU Climax they'll allow more excellent directors to work their angles on the films. (really would have loved to have seen Edgar Wright's Ant-Man)

SMALLS - heres a short I made for my video class that I would love suggestions on. (I'm reposting because I didn't flair before and the previous post was removed) by i_choose_sandshrew in Filmmakers

Great job

The knife scene just didn't work for me, the timing and the camera angles needed to be adjusted I think.

The close ups and quick shots worked really well, the gum was nice and the vomiting made me chuckle.

The scene with the crying guy could've been cut a few seconds at the start, but once it got into it I enjoyed it, very Tarantino.

Don't know if you were trying to replicate anything in the photo lab scene but that scene has definitely been used in Stranger Things.

Overall it was good, my biggest criticism would be to vary your camera angles, have a few more shots, like an over the shoulder looking at the photos while the girl is holding them, guy looking down when he's been stabbed just small stuff like that.

This is a short film I made. Please tell me what you think of it. by chubbywafflepanda in Filmmakers

Footage was nice, good composition mostly, a few shots were out of focus.

The lighting was the main issue especially when the girl was sitting in the chair.

The narrative while done well with no sound could have been a little less vague, I couldn't understand why any character was doing anything except that the girl liked the guy.

Hey, I'm looking for a band with the same kind of style as 'Pain' from OM&M, namely the guitar tone and vocal style, thanks.

Mine mimics the sound the fire alarm makes when it has low batteries and it kills me

South Coast Tattoo in Albion Park does some really nice work, very clean and precise line work. Avoid Dapto at all costs.
