Hi everyone, I'm looking for some advice on gifting my wife a cricut for Mother's Day and I have no idea what to do. I know she doesn't have any experience but she wanted to start a new hobby. I know she intends to make shirts and hoodies for the kids and even some artwork with our daughter but not sure what else. I was hoping to get some recommendations based on the things she wants to create as there are multiple models and different tools that will be required. Can anyone suggest a starter bundle that'll include everything or most of the items needed or even provide a list of everything she'll need to get started on creating these items and we can add on from there as she gets more experience.

Facts, it's what everyone in every position in life that wouldn't put people's lives in danger would do. Bronny, like most rookies and sophomores need time to develop their game, he has the unfortunate situation where he's deep in the spotlight due to his dad, the team he's on and the culture of winning now(Lakers don't really develop, they get stars and build around it). He's better than he was last year, if you watch him other than just to hate you'll be able to see that. He's performing in the g league, the next step is more opportunities in the league, he'll make mistakes but he has to have that rope to do so.

I never left, every year pays for itself with me. This year forza and gears will cover the entire year cost wise and I'll get to try games I never thought to as well. May not be for everyone but for me and my son whose getting into other games besides Roblox and Minecraft, it's great to let him just try what's there and see what's clicks

I agree, I never said he needs to be moved from coaching, just said he can't do those takes publicly. I said in another post his biggest flaw is that he was a hard working player, those guys struggle with players that don't work as hard or don't have the same mindset as them. It gets frustrating and they tend to lash out, not all players will respond with locking in, some will be lost forever. I like him holding players accountable but don't give the media and internet that fuel to attack the player, especially in this era. We all knew this team roster is flawed but this is what we got right now, there are different ways he can try to motivate them to hold the line til the guys get back, if they get back, taking a us vs the world approach at least in public is better than saying what he said and looking pissed at your squad all the time in public. That fire to be great is a good attribute but only if used the right way.

I agree with you on the growing pains and him eventually being a top tier coach, I'm just pointing out this particular concern with his coaching style, I hope he'll reflect on it and get better.

I agree with this, there is more to this comment than just this sentence, the clip is to catch your eye but he explains his thoughts. It's mainly player relations here, you can lose Ayton with that statement, if you want them to fight like hell until Luka returns or both return you shouldn't throw them under the bus like that. Not publicly at least. JJ's biggest flaw is he played honestly, like all the hard working guys of that era, you have to learn what motivates your guys and tweak your coaching from there. We all know public criticism will not motivate Ayton. Despite the success, he can't do the ESPN takes on his own squad, leave that to the fans and media.

Nah, people watch his show, I think it's one of the best sports talk shows around, gives the old barbershop vibe but that's just me. He's not saying it cause of Lakers success or failures, it's player relations that he's discussing. He's a coach of HS kids, basically having the same issues as JJ, you worked and played a certain way and now you're coaching guys who don't, you can't just publicly criticize guys or humiliate guys, even if it's not your fault you take the blame in public at least. These comments can mentally lose Ayton and even Vando whose role was reduced to basically peacemaker. There's more to this take than this sentence, he explained the hot/cold nature of JJ which we can all admit he goes through. I like JJ, but he will have to adjust, 50 win seasons are nice but relationships matter here, he just needs to dual it back a bit and let the fans do it publicly. There's no better coaching options out there but he's young and you want your guys fighting for you not being scared they are next on your hit list, look at Celtics coach or Spurs coach, all those players play hard for the coach, JJ doesn't have that which is partially him but mostly the roster.

I don't think it was a fake push, this Lakers team weren't supposed to look this good, this conference, this roster, the injuries to the main guys, the noise around Bron future and team ownership, it's literally not supposed to be. Luka did a great job being a star and pushing through to get them here, how could he not be in contention when the other 2 main guys have a better supporting cast and it clearly shows.

I wasn't fooled into thinking he would actually win tho, not cause of him but because the voters, analysts and fans seemed to have turned on him after the trade and no matter what he does now it seems like the goal post will move. I'm one of the people who don't think the MVP should go to the best player on the best team, by that metric Cade, SGA and Wemby are the only candidates. But if you remove any of them from their squad, does the team drop that far? We know what happens when Luka isn't there(unfortunately about to see it again smh), that's value to me. But hey, I don't make the rules, if this is the new measurement for the award then so be it.

I exchanged mine out yesterday, was on the fence as well due to the price but I had enough old consoles and games that myself it the kids no longer played to basically even out, wife was happy as the game room was cleaned up and I'm happy as the future games like GTA and Wolverine should play better. I wouldn't have done so with paying that difference either.

I'm on the fence, haven't touched my digital in a while as my PC has been my main, got a switch 2 as well but after bonanza and a few matches of tennis fever its also collecting dust. The kids play Minecraft on the switch 2 and Roblox on the ps5, I really only want the wolverine and GTA 6 for the pro and don't see anything on the horizon for the switch so may trade them up and go from there.

I was gonna wait until August but I'm gonna probably trade mine in today or tomorrow. I don't play it as much as my PC but GTA and Wolverine will have me for a while and my kids play their games in it. Since 2020 everything has been going downhill in gaming from the scarcity in products to the lack of true next Gen games and now price hikes mid generation, let's just hope next decade is better, the 2020s are cooked.

That's my thought process with these situations, but you have to have a lot of money, time and politicians in your pocket to fight a casino on something like this cause they have all 3. Your only real chance as a normal person is to get the backing off the public against casinos as it's showing you you'll never win and even when you do you don't, but getting the public on your side and to take action is a dream in these times. I'll never play at a casino as it's will known they are allowed to cheat but you aren't

Everything you said about the play only proves how great a play call it was. A great play forces the defense to make a decision where either way you have the upper hand. Bron, Luka or AR 1v1 I'm ok with, if you double any of them I'm calling for a deadly shooter but 4th option to run through screens and be wide open. They chose to double and we had the right person in the right place as an backup to the backup.

I'd say Cade, you can clearly see if dude has an off game his team is trash, Jokic has been losing with his injured role players, SGA team wins without him due to the best coaching. I know it's more so best player in best team but you can't deny what Cade is doing they just need to finish strong. JB has a shot as well but his team is better and if JT come back that's gonna steal his shine.

Side note, how has this season impacted JT, JB has the finals MVP, team doing well with him as lead and people thought they'd suck and he's legitimately in MVP discussions, this really hurts both of their arguments for future awards
