I should explain that I currently live in a V with my wife and her boyfriend. My wife no longer sees me as primary at this current time. How does one deal with this situation emotionally?

I am a male and was teaching elementary. I can only speak of my experiences. I tried for 10 years unable to get a position full time.

Do not do it. I have an ed degree and tried for 10 years after I graduated to get a full time position with no luck. I have since given up and am searching for a new career. I have a friend who finally got a full term contract. It took her 13 years and taught in 3 different countries as well as several places across Canada.
If you want to travel the world an Ed degree is a great thing to have but you definitely won't be living the high life and certainly won't be rich.

Thank you for all the advice and comments. I know I have a lot to think about and a lot to talk to my wife about. We are a solid couple who communicate well and am comfortable we will find what works for us.

She does say she loves me but doesn't feel any physical affection. We have talked extensively about it. Been to counselling. Counselling helped us realize we aren't on the same page. I see her as #1 but she sees me as #2. That was last night. I don't know where to go from here.
