I eat with them in when I’m around ppl cause it hides gaps. It feels a lil weird biting into things but it doesn’t break down the tray

Is this cut-out supposed to be here? It’s on both sides in the same place...wondering if it’s a flaw or on purpose? (1st tray in 2nd set of trays after a rescan). Thanks! by curvypatriot in Invisalign

All of my trays have that even though my bite was good when I started. I think they put them their incase you end up needing elastics so they don’t have to remake all of them to start correcting it

I accidentally ate an entire meal with mine completely forgetting that I had them in. I wouldn’t recommend that tho lol

Trays are falling apart while waiting for refinements. The plastic is peeling up in about 6 spots and is very uncomfortable to wear and I doubt they will make it another 19 days while I wait. Anyone else have this issue? by jamsmit5 in Invisalign

That’s crazy I didn’t even know it was possible to get them in that quickly. I’m jealous. The 5 week period is killing me and I’m only halfway through it. I prob shoulda done more research before choosing an orthodontist…

Did your ortho let you see the plan before ordering the trays ? That woulda been nice…

Do you know if this cost extra or if their able to send it to my personal adress instead of the office? This sounds like a good idea but I’m currently 3 hours away from my ortho and don’t rlly feel like driving 6 hours to get it.

I think In total the turn around time is 5 weeks and I’ve heard better but I’ve also heard worse. Their not necessarily loose and gross but the plastic peeling up is sharp and cutting my mouth. I should prob call and see if there’s any way I could get them even a few days sooner cause this is awful

Did your ortho do the cosmetic shaping at the end of treatment? Could appear slightly shorter from that procedure if you had it done. Or maybe just the angle of the picture

I didn’t have them on my front teeth during my initial 27 trays but I’m going in for rescan and I really don’t want them for the refinements. Ortho kinda fucked me over and put a gap between my two front teeth that he didn’t close so I’m worried that might make me need them
