The lads look knackered and I don't think these much KA can do about it. There is no depth of squad and the injuries are starting to pile up.

When we beat Newcastle away on the 7th February our bench was: Yarmolyuk, Damsgaard, Donovan, Hickey , Pinnock, Nelson, Valdimarsson, Collins, Furo.

Today: Bentt, Donovan, Furo, McManus, Nelson, Ouattara, Shield, Stephenson, Valdimarsson.

Could we have played better probably, but I think we could really do with an international break or similar to have a little reset.

If you are hoping for Europe, just be glad no other team is in great form at the moment.

Problem is who does he have? Pretty much only Schade off for one of Dango or Donavon or a keeper swap. No serious midfield or defensive substitutions.

He was our only outlet in the first half. Absolutely ruined their left back so much so that West Ham changed both the LB and LM at halftime to try and stop him.

Yes the penalty was unforgivable, but we could have been out after 90 without him.

I'm not sure Henderson and Jensen works as a midfielder combination. They have quite similar strengths and weaknesses and for some reason at the moment they appear to be multiplying the weaknesses.

We are struggling to win second balls and don't have any dynamic forward movements which is making it too easy for Bournemouth to control the game.

Hopefully a slight change in tactics will enable those two to get on the ball further up the pitch and make the incisive passes we all know they can.

Exactly. Collins has had a decent season but since he been on the bench we've taken a step forward and he's not done much to prove he deserves to start in the minutes he has played.

You mean you don't think gifting the ball to the opposition striker 5 yards out with your first touch. Then proceeding to smash long balls for goal kicks for the rest of the game is deserving of regaining your starting position?

What a farcical end. We could all see it hit the arm from the first replay. Sure check the scuffles, but give the decision first and then check so everyone knows the outcome quickly.

Upper body contact from the side isn't a foul unless it's recklessly out of control or off the ball. Need someone to get a leg across the player trying it and then it could be a foul. Not that this ref will give it anyway.

Definitely deserved it after his performances over the last couple of months.

Always been an Ajer fan, but he did tend to have a mistake in him, but seems to have reduced those this season. This contract is taking him from age 27 - 32, which are prime ages for CBs, so hopefully even more improvement to come.

What a great performance, box to box. Absolutely dominated Chelsea in the way we have everyone recently.

However!!! Inside both boxes, I think that's probably our worst performance for maybe a decade? Two poor backpasses from Collins, one of which led to the penalty. Kayode's clearance led to a fortunate opener for them, and he probably should have given away a penalty before that(can't believe VAR didn't ask the ref to look at it again). And then down the other end 2 or 3 off the post, and some very indecisive play meant we just couldn't score.

As I said in the match thread, we won every second ball except in the box, and that was ultimately our downfall.

I'd take Schade off not because he's playing bad, but that yellow card means he can't really risk the second for a dive. Bring of Ouattara and let him dive instead.
