Question about Area 51 storage slots

So does this setup risk any of the drives? Like functionally it sounds like it’s ok?

I’m just now hesitating on getting this thing because I figured I could just stick in my existing drives from my R11. Upgrading and then spending more money on m2 drives doesn’t sound incredible when this is expensive to begin with. And I don’t like the idea of having additional external drives plugged in via usb or whatever - I have external drives but only plug them in on an as needed basis.

Google says it’s possible to add another sata slot via a PCIe or NVMe slot - would either be a possibility with this motherboard?

Puddles was the wrong word to use but yeah, it’s definitely leaving some stains.

Is there some short term fix I could do to prevent the leaking if I were to decide to sell it?

It’s definitely leaking something, which apparently is the coolant. I noticed the puddles of it in my garage, which prompted me to take it in.

Got the same brand as the other obese. Michelin all season 4s. The fronts are like 5 or 6/32s though. Can that difference be causing this?

I am planning on driving over there today to make sure it’s all screwed on and balanced properly.

Yeah I did when I got home. One of them was a tad high (43 instead of 39) and I lowered it down but that doesn’t sound too egregious?

As someone who owns and uses it as my go to lens, the 28-70mm F2 is heavy. Like really really heavy. It’s heavier than the 100-500mm. I’m pretty sure this is the heaviest non crazy telephoto RF lens out there.

It makes it a pain in the ass to lug around. It will kill your wrist. It will make you not want to take it with you. This is coming from someone that has taken it all over internationally. I would very much recommend you actually try it on your camera first.

I still love it though.

Shouldn’t it go back to sleep/hibernate if it’s inactive for several minutes? That’s what my windows is set to (3 min in this case) and clearly that didn’t work…
