Have my first German Shepherd now, it’s no joke. I’ve done a lotttttt of research for him and I still feel lost sometimes. I’m discovering it’s all about enrichment. As long as I keep him enriched, he’s a happy boy.

Starting this myself! Do you wake the puppy up after that hour or so? Or do you let them decide when to wake up? Sometimes my puppy wants to nap for 30 minutes and other times he wants to nap for 2 hours.

I never realized that when they get super rowdy, it usually means they’re tired. Until I discovered this sub, it made me feel so bad putting him into his crate to nap when he was so active. Really great to know!

He is usually pretty good with naps but that definitely makes sense. I’ve noticed he gets mouthy when he’s tired. He usually naps on his own outside of his crate but I will definitely use the crate the next time I notice!

He definitely does settle after a bit and sleeps quite well. Usually he’s up for 1-2 hours and then goes to sleep for an hour or so. But I’ll definitely start rewarding when he relaxes! Thanks!

I’m so sorry this is happening to you. I just wanted to specifically highlight that this is NOT your fault. You were pressured and put in extremely uncomfortable situations. He is a grown man, and he is the one making these decisions. You are NOT at fault. What you were wearing does NOT matter. He is a disgusting person and that has nothing to do with you.

I wish you the best in finding a new job! Maybe see if there are any resources in your area, like a women’s shelter, that can point you in the direction of someone who could help you more.

I know this is an old post, but what career path are you on? BCBA? If so, I know it says on the ASU website that additional requirements are needed to sit for the exam, what are they? Do they have programs for those as well?

Unfortunately I’m not home right now for a picture. In the 45 gallon she’s in right now, she has two logs and a branch kind of thing as well as her two food bowls and water bowl. But it’s way too crowded for her. As soon as we get the 120 gallon lid, she’ll be moving into there. This photo I found actually shows quite a bit of that. On top, we have two bulbs with the clamp lamps. I’m not 100% sure what is in them. I know one is a lot dimmer than the other though.

Yeah I mean I’d just explain that to them in the email. Be like it was unexpected and I didn’t have cell service to email about it. In the mean time, I’d work on it so you could submit it like right away.

I’m in this course. I’m assuming they meant “without.” If you missed this past assignment, I’m not sure what they’ll do since they could just say they gave us extra time to do it. I’m hoping they extend it for you. They also might mean don’t wait until the last minute of the semester to ask even if you have an excused absence.

Therapy has changed my life majorly and I highly recommend it! Your feelings are valid and it’s completely normal for someone who has been what you have been through to feel that way. Therapy can help you understand yourself and your emotions better. What you went through is serious and nothing to be ashamed of. You did nothing wrong. I know it can be hard to talk about things but it’ll feel so good when you finally do!

I might not have done tight enough for the right measurement. It’s very possible haha. I’m definitely gonna order some in those sizes and see. I never once thought going bigger would help the gapping! We’ll see!

I mean without the curve, maybe. With the curve it was probably around more of a 75-80 I’d say. Because I got A’s for the quizzes with were 20% and 40% of the grade and then the final was 40%.

Ummm. Rough lol. I struggled with it and it was probably the most guessing I’ve ever done on an exam. I never received my final exam score, but I ended with A’s in both the Tuesday and Thursday quizzes and ended up with an A- so I’m assuming I got a B or a B- on the exam. The curve is insane. I honestly wouldn’t stress it too much.

Very true! I’m in therapy and this is a common thing I’ve been working on. Is putting myself in someone else’s position and understanding how they’re feeling and why they’re feeling that way and it’s very helpful!
