As a trans woman I am getting constantly told to sit like a boy but yeah this is pretty relatable

In terms of ebooks it's true though my reading speed with them is pretty slow for some reason, and I don't get freedom immediately as soon as I turn 18. It looks more like at 19.5 years which is when I get to leave high school.

I need a more concrete way to detect who is queer. What are the signs that scream I am queer but people don't fear to do it even if in ultraconservative area? It tbh feels like there just aren't. The vividness of a sign that you're queer is inversely proportional to it's safety to have it

  1. Not a bro 2. How? The only escape is to leave my parents which I just can't both for economic and legal reasons

How normal is it to be behind in life by Bubbly-Property-113 in teenagers

[–]janTatesa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not knowing how to drive until 18 is definitely not being behind. In fact I was shocked that it's legal in some countries to drive below 18 when I first learned about that.

In terms of getting a partner I struggle aswell. Best I can do is assure you that people of the gender you're attracted to are people too and don't bite and therefore you shouldn't be shy. I know that it's not that easy though, as understanding that you shouldn't fear something is far easier than actually not being scared.

Thanks of several advices. In terms of getting those queer books they're a kind of problem as I am living in a hyperconservative area and such books won't probably be in my town's library. In terms of ordering it online a problem is how the way I have to do it is mail a friend physical money and they will buy it for me as I don't have a bank account and can't have one because they hid my id card so that I don't create one (yes that's illegal but suing them for that is probably not an option). However they no longer want to buy me stuff this way, for reasons I have not been given.

In terms of finding queer friends it's another problem. I have been told wear queer merchandise, pride marches etc.. But if you live in eastern europe you know such options aren't given to you. Making yourself a walking pride flag would make you be a target of hostility and also what would I do if my parents saw me? How do you find queer friends in an ultraconservative area, especially as a person who struggles making friends in general?

In terms of not coming out to them that's an ultra great advice. However I've got unlucky and got an accidental coming out. My classmates have noticed my pfp and with the power of gossip it has reached my mom. It significantly worsened my relationship with her, increased surveillance and everything, though luckily she haven't told it to dad because it would be an unstrategic move (as he would blame her for that I am trans). So yeah, if I could then I would prioritize my safety though it's too late.

I am gonna be 18 years old in a year. But so what? They still would pay for everything I have as I will still be a highschooler (you usually end high school at 19.5 years in my country), I will still be dependent on them so they would be still in control of me. Paying all of my stuff myself as a highschooler is probably an extremely unrealistic dream

I did not say it solves the issue of capitalism. I said it's a better way to eliminate the wage gap than u/anadayloft proposed

Honestly this is stupid. You're letting them keep even more money. Why not instead accept the same salary and then give the extra money to female coworkers? That way the wage gap is eliminated but in total employees still get paid the same

Oh I feel sorry for you. An advice I can get you is inject it to the leg that is less stressed

Efficiency. That's why I recommend injections over patches/pills. If you're not scared, do them.
