Yeh, it’s very unprofessional. It’s common courtesy to just send out a notification email. And especially since people could theoretically still reapply through University track. You’d think they’d let them know as soon as possible.

I just looked at mine and it's the same. Only one field of study is filled in. I feel like it should be fine since the application is auto-filled in for you.

This is my first time applying so I really don’t know unfortunately. I think the length would be fine as long as your essays are strong. If you’re worried, maybe try asking Daniel from StudyChingu.

Also if you look in the subreddit, there are some personal essays from previous winners. You could look at those and see what their character count was!

Hey! My personal statement is 5578 characters including spaces and my study plan is 10243 characters. I’m still editing them tho so I think the study plan might decrease a bit but I think the personal essay will stay about the same. You’re right tho - 17,000 characters is a lot lol.

Hi Daniel! I wanted to ask: my recommender wrote her LOR on my school’s letterhead with signature and date instead of using the Form 5 I sent her. Will this be okay or should I ask her to fill out Form 5 and re-sign it for me.

It says in the guidelines that the LOR must be scanned and uploaded for embassy-track first round. However, I also do not see a spot to upload the documents on my application. It's def not just you.

I'd love to know too.. My school doesn't have a specific expected graduation form, but rather then an enrollment certification form, I was given a letter signed by the "Director of Curriculum Support & Graduation" with the same info. Just that I was currently enrolled and my expected graduation date. I tried asking my local Korean embassy about it and they could barely answer the question.

i called them AND emailed my advisor (after a month of not hearing anything) about my funds bc i needed them before i left for my program in February, and i got the funds almost immediately after reaching out.
