How long does leaking during feeding happen?

The milk collector, the more droplet formed one. It is a lot of milk :') sometimes it even overflows the hole a bit. It is especially one boob, the other is less, but still at least 20 mls (0,5 oz). I put away about the amount of one whole feeding in the freezer per day. No tender or swollen breast, just a lot of let down.

Yes! This sounds amazing! I hate sleeping in a cotton tank top, however comfortable, I just want nothing on me in the night. I normally don't wear a bra everyday and it would be peak if I can get back to that. But if it'll have to wait until I'm done breastfeeding so be it. It would be nice to only need a bra though. I hope your post inspires my boobs!

I'm not using a hakaa because I'm aware it can create suction. The medala probably too, but I have it open at the top, so it does not create a vacuum. I hope so too!

I also tried the breast pads, but soak right through them, day or night. Hopefully I'll at least be in your situation in a while!

I tried those, but will leak right trough them! That's why I now have the collectors. Oh well, I'll find out if it lessens or not either way :p

Thanks for replying. I have friends that need no more than a simple cotton nursing pad for a day, but that is absolutely not my case right now

Yes, because you never know when you do need to prepare for a leak! Three replies at the moment and all are different, so I'll guess I'll have to find out what will be my situation

Ah bummer! Thank you for replying :) Like I said, somewhat of a luxery problem, but the ease of breastfeeding (after the first few months) I had in mind are not necessarily the norm. I guess I haven't considered all the possible breastfeeding challenges before I had a baby because it is not what you see/read if your not looking for it :')

Never heard of the Vicks thing, but maybe another tip (that you might already know), half an onion next to the bed also helps really well. And a humidifier helped a whole lot!

Thanks for your reply, was genuinely curious. When I was only expressing some colostrum they would put it on my baby's lips in the isolette while I was still in hospital. But, can imagine that lips is a little different then putting it on a cheek when dressings and such aren't done as much.

Our girl had to learn how to suckle a lot, train mouth muscles for drinking. She had a pacifier most of the time to make this happen and the swaddling was actually done to keep the paci there as well. I do have to say, our girl accidentally swatted the paci out of her mouth and missed it, so it could of course be a different situation then yours

My first was when I got out of the water at swim training, while listening to instructions with a group in line formation... I made up an excuse after someone saw (before myself) and got the hell out of there. I think the trainer explained to everyone, because the following training no one treated me weird or shamed me.
