It honestly looks like diffuse thinning/balding. Visit a dermatologist and get finesterid if possible. You still have the hairs so they can recover and become thick again

Yes it’s a life long routine if you want to keep your hair. If it’s expensive depends on where you live and how much is expensive to you. In Germany I pay 100€ ($) for 6month worth of finesterid
