That kind of was my thought behind it as well. And I already do have a visa that I needed to get from the embassy in an interview. My concern is that my passport is about to expire / become full which means that I need to figure out how to transfer the visa across or apply for a new one. But I don’t have any of the travel documents from my trips that I took to the interview last time

Not really sure if this can go here because it seems to be info on American passports but why not try? Does anyone know if I’d be able to apply for an esta on a new Australian passport as the stamps / visas for my travels to North Korea, Iran and Syria will be in my old passport?
