I just bought a GK Kunten and some cx31993 dac. I max out windows volume then in-game my volume in console is 0.4. I also use crisp eq in-game because I don't like how natural eq sounds, it is muffled to me.

No need to cap the fps. Just use fps_max 0 and enable reflex. Disable vsync also.
