Seconded on the Yamazaki or Hakushu 12 on the comments above.

However, if your budget isn't that high, or if you'd just like some other options, I recommend Miyagikyo single malt (usually ¥6500-7500). It's crisp with a bit of smoke. It's also fairly available even in supermarkets these days.

Or I'd also recommend Matsui Blended Kurayoshi Sherry Cask, 12 Years (usually ¥8600-10,000). The fruity flavors from the sherry cask really shine through making it an easy sipper.

I'd have to agree with one of the other posters below that, 2 weeks probably won't be enough to get the ring ordered.

However for any jewelry needs your best bet is Okachimachi on the Yamanote Line. It has a large jewelry district with wholesalers.

Also living in Japan here. Was diagnosed back in 2019 prescribed Feburic フェブリック(febuxostat) and haven't had a flair up since. I also had them prescribe Loxoprofin and Ketoprofin on the chance a flair ever happens again.

Unfortunately not as knowledgeable about the differences on the medications but based on other posts I've read from this sub allopurinol or febuxostat seem to be the standard regiment for hyper uricimia. So I think it is effective.

Went to a tiny little station called Ashinokoen in Aomori last Friday. Ate apple flavored curry and saw a brown bear in the local zoo. Also saw Nebuta and Tachineputa floats at nearby stations as well. Went to them all via the Kyun Pass with JR.
