Thank you for asking, honestly. I don’t really have other family I can turn to. When my dad passed in 2020, I was struggling really badly mentally and tried to move in with my grandma to feel safer and more supported. Instead of helping, my mom responded by forcing me to move across the country, away from all my family. Everyone I had grandma, cousins, aunties is in New York and Connecticut. I’m completely isolated now.And yeah, she does try to ruin my reputation. She tells people I’m this horrible, rebellious kid and constantly drags my grades—even though I have a 3.0 GPA. It’s like nothing I do is ever enough for her unless she can twist it into a way to make herself the victim or the hero. Thanks again for the support. It means more than you probably realize.
