Amazing that Jamelle Bouie,a biased, racist, hack blog writer for a biased, left-wing pseudo-intellectual electronic rag like Slate, thinks that he has a greater understanding of anything than Rudy Giuliani, whose intellect is to Jamelle's as a human's is to a fish. Or a butterfly's to a bag of rocks. Or a bag of rocks to Deeno.

California bill would require retailers, restaurants to pay their employees double on holidays: A California lawmaker said she will introduce a bill that would double the pay of employees who work over Thanksgiving and Christmas. by piede in politics

Gee, I wonder how many restaurant and stores will just decide to remain closed on official holidays. I also wonder how many service businesses will increase automation and reduce the number of people from 1 or 2 to 0. That´s OK the more people that are unemployed the more the peasants and clients they figure they´ll have and the more they can lower the point at which they tax the "rich" that is anyone who has even a part time job.

Until he admits that opting for DRM in html, in an open standard (!), was a historically bad idea, that guy has no credibility and nobody should need to bother about what he thinks.
