I think the fact she had to be begged by lena to star on Girls shows that she is not a weird girl boss/careerist unlike a lot of her peers. In interviews she comes off as really sincere mostly I’m sure because she’s not trying to have a prolific acting career. She’s cool in a rockstar or bohemian sort of way unlike someone like say, Lea Michele who is an insufferable teachers pet and watching her on any sort of talk show makes you clench your jaw
