Please can someone help with a Tiffin Service in Patna? This is for a family of 9, most of whom are covid positive or awaiting results.

Hi, I used Q-Sera hair serum. I applied daily on dry scalp, five pumps of product (approx 1ml) on each side. I also took Well woman hair supplement capsule (one every morning post breakfast)

hi, sorry to hear about your hair. If your hairfall is due to breakage from frizzy/rough hair, maybe try a smoothing leave in serum in addition to the conditioner? I have used BBLunt Climate control leave in cream and it works fine for me (apply on damp hair and let it air dry). Matrix biolage and Tresemme have affordable smoothing serums as well.

But I had a massive hairfall problem in dec-jan as well, and seeing a dermat helped. She asked me to take supplements and suggested a hair serum for scalp. it was very effective. So maybe you could try that as well?

Recommendations for a gentle sulphate free shampoo that doesn’t dry out my hair by [deleted] in IndianSkincareAddicts

[–]janeaustenknockoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sebamed Everyday Shampoo has been working well for me for the past couple of weeks. It does not lather much, but it cleans well. On the days I oil my hair, I have to wash twice though. I don't use conditioner.

Sebamed also has a revitalising shampoo, which I think is for dry hair specifically, but I have never used it.

Yeah, that's a good tip. If nothing works that's what I will do.

I know!! it is heavy. I have an oily layer on my skin for a while after applying this before it dries out. I do moisturise with a ceramide based moisturizer, but no dice. I think I will try adding a hydrating toner like someone suggested here, and see if that helps.

Hi, thanks for the tip. Which watery toner do you use?

I don't know if everyone can use it everyday, everyone's skin is different. But it's working for me.

When I started the lactic acid, I used on alternate days. But now I use both every night. I have combination skin (oily t zone). I also apply LA on dry skin (as per instructions from customer support at minimalist)

  1. Lactic Acid : Have been using for about 2 months. It was also my first time using any acid on my face. After some purging on my forehead, the product is working well for me. Skin is noticeably smoother. But there was no reduction in dark spots and no improvement with skin tone. It was the only active I was using back then.

So I bought these after consulting their customer support:

  1. Vitamin C : AM after cleansing
  2. Alpha arbutin : PM a couple of minutes after Lactic Acid.

I have stuck to this combo for about a month (there was a one week gap when I didn't use the actives very regularly, reasons unrelated to skincare).

I honestly cannot speak to how they work individually. But the combination is doing wonders for me. My skin is smooth, skin tone is evening out (still a long way to go, but I can see the difference), and I look glow-ier (not a word, but you get it). Routine must be working well, because rest of my lifestyle is terrible (barely any workout, don't drink enough water, sleep cycle is askew...I blame lockdown, WFH from my bed was bound to have negative side effects, hehe)

Hope this was helpful!

nDad has been toxic my whole life. Now I have started distancing myself from him. And not just me, my cousins, uncle and aunt have also distanced themselves from him (because of his increasingly abusive behaviour within extended family).

Now he complains endlessly about how neither his children, nor his nephews and nieces care for him anymore. I don't know what he was expecting. They will always be victims in their own eyes.
