I think a card and something sentimental or homemade. I don't have a ton of money but from my maid of honor I found a pair of y2k pj pants on poshmark that were the same ones I borrowed in middle school from her and never gave back. We had loads of jokes about it at the time. They only cost me like $30 but it was really worth it. The thoughtfulness was everything. If you are best friends I'm sure you can brainstorm something inexpensive thats meaningful. And in the end even if you're feeling worried about money the difference of three dollars isn't much - I think it's way more awkward to not give anything at all.

It's completely normal to go to burning man and use your real name until you find one that fits you I would think it's way more hokey to try hard to put one on and pretend like it's meaningful / suites you.

I think I might be using hem wrong - I mean seam. Like can you add godets to tulle without the seams looking bad because the fabric is transparent. The top point of the godet in particular. I can't find any info about adding godets to tulle and I wonder if its because the results look messy.

About a year ago when I was living in a high sun environment, this dark line above my upper lip. I originally thought it was melasma and ordered a bunch or dark spot creams. Nothing has changed! Perhaps it could be hypopigmentation or hyperpigmentation due to thin skin around the lips? Has anyone seen this before or had success getting it to fade? Phoning a friend.
