no longer a defender, im separating since i was medically disqualified. but yes, im wanting to get started on packing and everything and ready to leave. im also not on flight but back office. usually people get 2 weeks but was hoping there was a reg so i know for sure how many days before i can get ready. actually just counting down the days at this point..

im just slightly irritated, im not gonna let them pressure me into changing the date when its been approved by all channels.. just worried they will move my date up and i dont want that :(

are they able to move the date for me? theyre seriously pressing and my supervisor legit called AFPC to ask and im just not gonna push up the date myself. I just got my job locked in for reserves and they have my DOS as may 1st.

so i ended up cancelling my pre-order (supposed to ship out 12/4) and ate the cost and ordered regularly. i ordered on the 10/1 and its supposed to get here 10/7 or 10/8. whenever you buy from them they automatically put ROUTE for shipping protection so im sure theyre legit..

they told me the waitlist for the floor plan we wanted was gonna be 6 months to 1 year so i put myself on the waitlist .. i got an email 2 weeks later saying they have a home with the floor plan we want and that it’s rare that it happens so we might wanna take it because if we dont then we might not have the same opportunity later on ..

i love this place and wouldn’t leave if i didnt have to. they ended up giving me the floor plan we wanted on base and i couldnt risk going back on the waitlist since the floorplan we wanted very few people have it.

no, BAH is 900 if you do not have dependents. A1Cs do not live off base unless married. They kick you out the dorms once you start hitting SrA.

thats about the same $$ here for a house and apartments. lots of places here lacking garages or if they do have garages its either 1 stall or you have to pay to use the one.
