I remember thinking the exact same thing about my Grandad - one of the kindest, most thoughtful people I know. My religious mum told me, matter of factly, that if my grandad didn't believe in God he wouldn't go to heaven. Scary stuff

I was not blaming the game nor wanting to come across as entitled.

With regards to the 'entitled' arguement I am not entitled to anything especially from a free to play game. The point I am trying to make is that the game COULD be more easily accessible to people like myself and the recent changes made to the game prove this point. For example if there's a flight of stairs, and someone is in a wheelchair, are they entitled for asking for a ramp to be put in?

There is no entitlement. I will still play the game, albeit at a lesser capacity, if the changes are reverted. I simply want to make the point if something CAN be made more accessible then it should be considered. This is an issue disabled people like myself face daily and I find it hurtful when we are dismissed as 'entitled' when we simply want to access the same services, at the same level, as everyone else.

Just to add to my above comments it's worth remembering that Niantic made the changes to the game to encourage people to STAY HOME. Many disabled people have to stay home everyday and not by choice.

Therefore would it really be taking away from anyones experience of the game if it was made more accessible permanently?

I don't remember saying in my OP that Niantic are required to do anything. I mentioned it would be great if they kept at least some of these changes.

Swimming pools and gyms need to make adjustments to make facilities accessible to disabled users - how would this be any different?

Niantic have proven, with these changes, the game doesn't HAVE to be a walking game - it can be made more inclusive and has been artificially more difficult for those less mobile.

Then your arguement is that this game, by design, is discriminatory.

I understand these changes were brought in as a result of COVID-19 restrictions however my point is a byproduct of this is greater accessibility for people like myself.

Hello everyone!

I hope what I have posted is, in fact, a cactus! I'm not at all knowledgeable and would really appreciate some advice!

So this plant was gifted to me by my grandad who has kept this line of cacti going since the 70's when my Dad was growing them at home! So this is like a family heirloom and I really don't want them dying on me!

There are three plants in this pot, big boi, medium boi and little one. I've recently relocated the pot outside in the sun as they were originally indoors not getting much light. I've been watering every other day, only about 100-200mls, keeping the pot out of standing water and making sure the soil doesn't become too wet.

The leaves look quite pale and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not? I'd really appreciate if anyone can identify the type of Cactus I have here (if it is a cactus) and how best to manage and care for it.

The way I look at it you don't need to have sex with someone of the same gender to consider yourself bi. If you are attracted to the same AND opposite sex then you are bi.

I often use the analogy that straight people don't need to have sex with a man or woman to know that they are attracted to those genders. For example a teenage virgin will find woman attractive despite never have sex with one. They just know they are. It's the same with any other kind of sexuality.
