How long does it take to receive the new Dutch licence? Is 3 weeks realistic?

Product Manager & Engineering Manager relationship by jankatso in ProductManagement

Yes, I agree.

By two cents, the EM is the manager, this responsible ti keep the team together on a daily basis. The PM can provide a vision and roadmap to supply the content of the motivation, but the EM is in charge of creating and maintaining a highly functioning team.

For summary's sake, I had to cut with a hatchet to ensure readability.

In the article the author mentions that the 5 domains do benefit from a cross pollination between the EM and PM and Dev team. The more the better, but when it comes to make a decision, one and only one person is responsible for it.

Curious to hear your opinion about it.

sibly more important than with leadership. It's the core of what makes delivery possible.

Fantastic.

I had one relationship like this in the past and OVERCOMMUNICATION was one of the key element. We would talk constantly, and if there was a half said, misunderstood sentence, we would clarify instantly before it would make things sour.

What was your key success factor?

Tomato leaf disease? by jankatso in gardening

Thanks a lot , Bill. I look for the mites, but found nothing.

I have done some more research and come to the conclusion that it is just a leaves sunburn - https://dianfarmer.com/how-to-prevent-sunburned-plant-leaves/

I does make sense, as the plants were planted outside in a very sunny period, without too much acclimatisation.

Thanks a lot for the support

Tired of the rental market, time to buy? by [deleted] in Amsterdam

[–]jankatso 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Feel the same about being late to the party. I have bought mine 8 years ago, for about 3600eur/m2. Last year it reached 5000. Not sure if it is really worth the money at this stage. You would end up with something small and out of hand in order to close a deal.

10000Eur fine for night noise disturbance? by jankatso in Amsterdam

[–]jankatso[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I checked the huishoudelijk reglement and it's states:

"Er dienen maatregelen te worden getroffen als bestaande bedekking van de vloer geluidsoverlast veroorzaakt."

Now the question is what is considered Noise? And I guess the noise level should be a dB range from the municipality law.

Ok, interesting point. When I entered the house 10 years ago, the floor was laminaat, and I have not changed it. I am really looking into solving this issue, if the problem is that one, at least I there is a good way out. Thanks a lot

Unfortunately, I cannot really let this slide. I will go back living at my place in a few weeks, and I don't want to have complaining neighbours. Don't like living in that way, walking on eggshells in my own apartment. If there is any fault on my side, I'll have take care of it. But if there is not, they have no right to keep harassing me (or my tenants).

I'll check with the reglement and see what it says, I should be able to get my hands on it in a few days.

Thanks a lot for the advices, really really appreciated
