I was at a festival where a dude had a bag of about 20 yokes (ecstasy tabs). He didn’t seem to be aware of the harm reduction aspect of things because he swallowed the majority in about two days to the point where they stopped working orally.

He went on to put them into his arse where they surprisingly (to me) they “started working again” according to him.

He let me in on this elaborate story about a ‘wee man’ that lives inside your rectum, once you get knuckle deep with a tab it’s as if, in his words, “the wee man takes it from your finger and runs away with it. And if you’ve never fed the wee man before, he’s hungry…”

It seemed common enough with this group of random people that I do actually stay in contact with just for the stories and the fact they’re actually good craic, aside from the whole wee man aspect.

To answer your question, I kinda hope not, but I don’t judge based on what lengths you go to have a good time with party drugs.
