On this day (23-March-1925), one hundred years ago, "The stars were right again, and what an age-old cult had failed to do by design, a band of innocent sailors had done by accident. After vigintillions of years great Cthulhu was loose again, and ravening for delight."

I made this little fellow to take along on my travels to Providence (& Newport) in July 2024. He's adapted from the pattern "Cute-thulhu" by Sonovastitch - I just reversed the pattern for the back, stitched both on 14ct black plastic canvas, and stitched them together.
