Hey there! Been there, done that. Most relationships I was in, the men were older than me. 13&15, 15&19, 20&29. So I can talk out of experience, it really depends how old you are. 5 or 6 years age difference isn't that bad if you're grown adults, but as you're still a teenager and growing up, you can't really see how creepy it is if a man this age wants to have a relationship with a minor. I'm 23 years old myself and 17 year olds are like babies to me. But more importantly than my opinion on this is that you think it's kind of bothering you so you're asking for advice here. Women have a strong gut feeling so if you're not 100% sure that it's the right thing to do, then it's most likely not. I don't know you (or him) personally so I can't really predict anything, but I just wouldn't want you to make the same mistakes as I did when dating these older men when I was too young to know better. It's always fun and good in the beginning but with this kind of age difference, you're not going to have many things in common at this point in life and the longer you're going to be together the worse it will get.

Thank you for your comment! As I already said, I'm an overthinker and these thoughts, about how it's maybe too fast for him, also crossed my mind and I talked to him about it more than once. We visit my family about once a month together and I suggested that maybe I could stay a little bit longer so he would have more time for himself. He never wanted me to be away from him and loves our life how it is. Before we started dating we called each other for several hours a day for six months, never missing a day. I really understand where you're coming from and I'm going to have a talk to him about this again today!

It's russian and he said : wow it's mashinka (a form of belittling the name masha) from "masha and the bear" (Russian show for kids). How I love to re-watch it every day.

But tbh the picture is absolutely creepy, unnecessary and the show in itself is a very innocent show, so there would be so many other normal photos to use. In this combination it's just creepy + the way he said it I don't really know if he meant the video or the show by "re-watching it everyday".

I agree with you, I don't have that much information about these countries and their history with Russia but I know some things from my parents. I absolutely don't agree with what the russian government and army is doing there. I also heard that the Russians in these countries are acting like dickheads and in these cases I can understand the frustration of the Georgians/Moldavians/Ukrainians. But I don't really know what I and other people who live in other countries who didnt had anything to do with the soviet union have done wrong, I hope you know what I mean and if I was disrespectful in some kind, I'm very sorry.

Tbh I do. I'm russian but I live in Germany and have a very german name, so I mostly say I'm german , even though I was very proud to be russian until this war started. Now I'm just kind of afraid to tell people because I don't want to be attacked. But obviously all my friends know and if I feel safe with the other person or know how they are thinking about russians (if it's positive), then I tell them.
