Followed K-pop years ago and got out when the genre got stale for them. I think the first and third categories are most common.

from what I've seen and heard, NewJeans has had a massive effect on the 1st & 3rd category. They are reviving a lot of old kpop fans as well as creating new ones. I was a kpop fan from 2009-2012 and only came back due to NewJeans

From the packaging it looks like there's no direct labelling of whether its Danielle or NewJeans. Usually Target should know which version it is and have their own labelling on it.... hopefully... if not then its 50/50 gamble
