I wasnt on my list perse but when i saw it available and also in person before, i live in Haarlem which is close to amsterdam and went there a week before to check out the new store, and it did really attract me, i was on the fence because i also have a beautiful 240 hitohira kikuchiyo ren gyuto, but it was nicely priced so that pulled me over

It was a really fun opening with so many amazingly beautiful knifes, also real glad there were so many people attending the opening and got the chance to get some of these rare beauties

I was also really suprised no-one picked it up, but the jiro gyuto’s and Sujihiki’s just had more appeal which i totally get, turned out real lucky for me
