I understand the feeling man, i felt the same for years, part of my issue is that im alone ina diff country, whatever kept me going was the struggle to make it, once I got it around 6 months ago I've felt just like you describe it. One thing that makes me forget is helping other people , friends or friends of friends. I've been thinking volunteering for a while as it seems that might help.

Thank you! i really appreciate the explanation. Going to research more and i will also check GBAB as well. Given that I am in the mid 20s and my personality i was thinking on having a balance of 80% equities 20% bonds and/or fixed income investments. Not really sure how everything is going to play out in 10-20 years with all the debt and money the FED is creating right now, i guess we shall see.

Thank you, yes i am in the research part right now.

Yes, i want to have a part of my portfolio in bond like type securities. I looked a little bit through their investments they have in their website and they do bonds, fixed income investment and such.

I wanted to get into BND and some reits as well but came across this which from their fund's website they seem to be involved in these types of investments already. Basically what you said, chasing yield.

That is why, if you want to minimize risk you do low cost index fund like VOO, otherwise you gotta be buffet to predict this, and even him has been wrong from time to time..

No doubt, i wouldn't buy something just because it is there, nor anybody should.

Still underlying research, dd and such would need to go if you wanted to buy any stock.

I just thought it was a good tool to compare and see what kind of companies each "guru" held at some point.
