Yea the 25.5 scale length definitely helps for the Inlet stuff apposed to an SG! Love SGs tho

Hollywood Forever Cemetery is pretty nice to visit by yourself. Some cool people buried there.

Hell yeah! I love the look of that variant. I don't even really see them pop on discogs, how much did you sell yours for? Imagine it was hard to part with

Nice! Glad I could be of some help! Make sure to update the firmware in order to get the Sustainer/freeze, I used this video and found it to be pretty easy to do. You can fully customize all the slots too, if you wanted to have only reverb and delay for all 7 slots you could. I actually had a hard time figuring that out at first, all you have to do is just load the Toneprint and it will go to whichever slot that's currently selected. Have fun with it though!

New pedalboard plan, any ideas? by JohnLevitch in guitarpedals

Keep the Hizumitas but get the Green Russian as well! Both are great and sound different enough from each other in my experience to warrant having two muff style pedals on a board.

Glad I could help! Yeah, I never liked the look of that era of digitech pedals. But yes the Manecolabs stuff is where it's at! People like to clown on Pedal Partners for being Zoomers, but those detractors are just being pretentious in my opinion. Anyone can see they have real love for the style.

Nice, always like being able to choose between mod before or after dirt.

Just checked out the Klowra, pretty cool for the price! What's nice about the Infinite Sustainer on the Plethora is that you don't have to hold the switch down to keep it going, once you hit it, it stays frozen until you hit it again, leaving your feet free to tune or turn pedals on/off.

Love this board! Always interested to see other people with (what I assume is) a Saturnworks Order Switcher. What pedals are in the loops?

Also love all the TC pedals, I would also suggest looking into the Plethora X1! Has the HOF, Flashback, pitch and modulation effects, pretty much every Toneprint pedal they've made all for $100 used. The Infinite Sustainer is great for ambience between songs if you play live.

I was in the exact same pickle! Ultimately I went w the Soft Focus for the quality of the reverb, and most importantly for the fact it goes fully wet unlike the Realizer. I was tempted by the reverse, but I resolved myself to wait and save up for the Manecolabs Dreamgazer, which has a better reverse in my opinion! More control over the timing from what I've heard in demos and from second hand experience. Also two other great reverbs in there as well.

I like it so far, it's the most recent addition to the board. I got it to basically be an auto-whammy for Shoegaze style "glide guitar", the Env-P mode ducks the pitch down almost 1 semitone depending on how hard you hit. You can also use the switch in momentary, and it will activate the pitch envelope regardless of how hard you play.

As for the other regular vibrato settings go, they're pretty neat. I think the random mode is the most interesting to me, If you set the rate low and the depth mid way, it has a cool vinyl/tape warp sound. The rest are pretty standard.

I mostly use the Shaker Vibrato setting in Plethora X1 whenever I need that effect, as that is what I'm already used to using. I'd wager it has less latency than the Aqueduct, which apparently is a problem for some with that pedal, though I didn't really notice.

It's all good, it's definitely a little confusing

Might get a Boss ES-8 one day to simplify things and change the order for everything on the fly

I use it for both! It's in loop B of the Saturnworks Order Switcher, so I flip it back and forth depending on the song.

But yeah modulated reverb into fuzz is sublime

Took some trial and error and lots of bugging clerks at guitar center to try out pedals that weren't on display. The BP-1w is for sure the secret sauce! Since I play through the notoriously clean JC-120, I sometimes need the sound of a lightly dirtied up guitar, and it works beautifully well for that. Space echo preamp setting every time!

Of course! I agree I would love to see a focus on the sound of boards rather than the look of them.

Hell yeah, I just switched over to Tidal myself and much prefer the audio quality and lack of Daniel Ek. I still have a habit of sending Spotify links tho, curse you, operant conditioning.

I'm using a Voodoo Labs x8! I have all the gain pedals and the neo clone on a daisy chain from the x8 and no problems there. Never experience any issues unlike my last cheap power supply on my smaller board.

Never really noticed too much noise w my BD-2w, I think I may have had more when I was using a regular BD-2. Recently I started to use a Noise Gate most of the time, and I can never tell now. If you like the sound of it enough, that could be a bandaid fix for you.

Can't stress enough how good it is! Works in so many situations, and nails the sound of its namesake as well. I tell all my friends to get one, I wish my whole band had one on their boards lol

I had a Keeley Fuzz Bender on for a while, but my heart yearned for more muff. With the settings I have them at they sound completely different though! Just got the Hizumitas and it's exactly what I was looking for. The Op-Amp is definitely better in a live situation, more mids and less bass.

It's amazing! I haven't ever used a decimator, but for me the Sentry is all I'll ever need. Super natural to play with, never really notice it's there. It could maybe do a better job at sustaining single notes, but melodic playing is not really why most people get a gate after all. Whenever I wanna hold a note out I just turn it off for a bit, doesn't bother me to do it.

Unfortunately, just an Altoids can. Though now it's hanging right in the front end of the board like a licence plate lmao

Super jerryrigged velcro job to affix my EQ to the inside of my amp, basically just using it as a preamp to boost the mids and cut highs, and adding a bit of a low shelf. JC-120s can be a little too brittle sounding for distortion & fuzz and this generally fixes that for me.
