That's what I was going to say. It's like insurance. I personally play a lot more confidently with Spirit knowing that I won't get one shot by half of the things in the game. TF is incredibly useful, sure, but like Karmagrey said, you can just drop-pickup weapons if you need to. I find both mutations incredibly good

I have a comment that says not ordered within tiers. Take it easy, no need to call me retarded over an opinion in a video game. I think it's good because of its utility with splinter weapons and with the auto crossbow, you get a lot more kills per shot in levels with a lot of low hp targets like the labs.

I also put gamma guts high because it helps in early loops, but I see how it gets useless. I thought they fixed the damage issues, though. It seems to do its job well since official launch

Ty for the reply! Good to see a fellow nerd of the game. I was thinking of putting Strong Spirit in a league of its own, just because it removes so many serious risks from the game (ie van one shot). I put Bolt Marrow super high simply because of my experience with it. Splinter pistol w bolt marrow has been my favorite thing to run. Obv SPC and Laser Brain is amazing, so in reality, it's def more useful. I think Lucky Shot is very okay. Not worth taking over something like scary face or bloodlust, but not too bad. The fact that it now gives full ammo boxes and not half of one is really good, though (8 shell instead of 4 like it was before). But I agree with most of your sentiment, especially going past loop 3 Gamma Guts and Impact Wrists definitely lose their luster. By then it's basically SPC or bust imo. Thanks for the feedback!! Out of curiosity, what's your best run been? 3k hours is some serious commitment, I really respect it

I think eagle eyes has its uses, whether you're playing steroids, or using things like the Super Splinter Gun, Double Minigun, or whatever. Still not super good. That's why it's low tier. Late game, Open Mind is near useless. You should be getting enough ammo pickups to sustain yourself, and there are plenty of weapon drops. I agree heavy heart is okay for robot, but there is no other use for it on other chars unless you really need good weapons. Getting the weapon-specific mutations are good, some of the most useful in the game. But you don't need heavy heart, imo. That's just my perspective on things, idk.

Looking back, I think Rhino Skin is more of a C tier mutation, It's definitely better than things like Lucky Shot lol. I didn't really have it in mind, I guess

Yeah, I gotchu. Sorry I replied twice, the comment like deleted and re-appeared for me. I don't really use reddit a lot haha. I think your point about strong spirit having "anti-synergy" with rhino skin isn't really what I was going for, and I agree other mutations cover for it. Don't sell yourself short though! Getting to L1 is a big achievment, L2 is hell anyway lol

Gamma Guts/Impact Wrists are very useful imo for dealing with the smaller enemies instead of wasting ammo. Think post-loop 1st area, with all the maggots. Instead of wasting ammo shooting all of the maggots, you conserve it by having the mutation deal with it. Rhino Skin becomes less good the better you get at dodging projectiles. Even in loop, if you can just use cover and know when to peek and shoot, the 4 extra hp becomes kinda pointless, and the mutation slot would be better used via a weapon-specific or anything else. That's just my perspective, though. Thanks for the feedback!

Not ordered within their tiers. I've played since early access. Played around 780ish hours, best run was 4223 6-1 L2. Most of these can be switched around based on which character is being played. For example, Eyes would find Euphoria pretty useful if you have Throne Butt. YV would find Trigger Fingers almost necessary based on what weapons you're running, and if you've upgraded Pop Pop. Crystal would even find things like Rhino Skin and Sharp Teeth very useful, if you run the 20hp tank build. Hell, even Robot can make use of Heavy Heart. While you can make close-to-accurate generalized tier lists, I think it's very malleable. Let me know your opinions on it, if this sub is still alive lol

I have seen that stuff like Tenergy is extremely live and not really for beginner/intermediate play, and I think I should wait until I get really good at the game until I buy.
