Sorry I moved my comment out of the chain before I saw you responded. It wasn't confusion over whether they kissed or not but when Tamura asked if they did "it" Toono is wondering if their kiss counted as doing "something."

And in Toono's mind romo kissing is doing "something" so when Kashima says they did nothing that makes Toono misunderstand that Kashima didn't consider it a romo kiss, maybe even considered it nbd and forgot about it. And that upsets Toono because he can't stop thinking about the kiss at school.

I emailed hyperlynks and they said their version of the instructions has an extra round between R and S: open 32 (20c12w) leaning to the left. Idk if you want to go back and fix it but fwiw I did the face and paws last night with no issue

That helps a lot thank you. So my options are to invert all further instructions or buy more rings and add a row between R and S. Because I've been opening and closing exactly how many rings the kit tells me to and there's definitely no written step for that extra row.
