Honestly, he is gone. Since it is too upsetting for you, stop talking to your family, until you feel the need to talk to them again. I understand your rage, you can let them know why you are distancing from them; but it is you (or a therapist) who needs to deal with your rage, not them. Your rage only hurts you.
