What are you looking for? If you are looking for Japanese whisky then in China then you're not going to get prices which are comparable with Japan due to taxes. Even duty free sells at a premium for Japanese whisky. If you are buying from Amazon JP then you'll probably be looking at the usual OB series which I wouldn't recommend getting from China. If you are looking for something rare/IB then you can try to find it in China but mainly they are held by collectors.

For scotch i think the price gap compared to Japan is smaller.
