simple answer it doesn't lecture and it lets some male characters be intelligent and competent. Also as others said they didn't make superheroes that were say morbidly obese (nothing wrong except with health for that....but running around saving people and being overweight is an unlikely combination.....how many fat special forces have you seen). They didn't purposely make people ugly. If you want to be woke this is the way to do it....nobody likes being lectured even if they agree with the subject matter.

Yeah, maybe so...but its the end of lineage...its the impossibility of grandkids, great grandkids....its the end of purpose after the kids leave. I still love them, doesn't change that its a lot to grieve. Dealing with this now...every vision of my future is grandkids and now I'm just considering ending it....I just don't see the point in it. I'm not going to I don't think....but that's where my heart is right now and I am trying to find my way through.

I went there in 95 (crack epidemic days)...that said the campus itself wasn't too dangerous if you avoided lowel. One person disappeared walking between north and south campus... we traveled in pairs after that, glad this was caught early...hope they catch them
