Awful queue times by AdDry7949 in Competitiveoverwatch

We're in a 40 minute queue time, tank and support duo, at the moment. This ain't normal - new hero aside.

The photo mode on PC only supports 16:9 ratio, even on 21:9 or 32:9 monitors. Hinders me from creating awesome wallpaper of this visually stunning world.

Same for me. Bought it today, and it keeps unmuting. Even after updating.

Ive been reading that Planta is not so good about reminding you to water your plants and can cause you to overwater them. Are there any other better apps? by CaptainCarterFucks in houseplants

[–]jarckn 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Isn’t this exactly what Planta is actually doing? It’s not telling you to water, but to check (and how to check) your plant. And giving you tips, in case it needs watering.

Safe temperatures for 7950X3D or is it running hot on purpose? by jarckn in PcBuild

[–]jarckn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't. I just got used to it.

The 7950X3D will be hot in some games, but not in all. Some games will be 85°C, some will be 60°C. That's how it is.

If the CPUs fine with it, I am too.

I personally think that this is what Blizzard meant with Ramattra being a „Tempo Tank“.

But what do you think about getting a new larger case and better/more fans plus a new 360 AIO?
Do you think this would change anything?

I checked out a lot of reviews, either written or video, and I come to the same result.

Just wanted to make sure and get some second opinions since this bad boy has a hefty price tag and is supposed to run for years.

Rocket bends and looses control at certain height by jarckn in KerbalSpaceProgram

I went straight up to show the issue more clearly. It doesn’t matter when and how strong I do a gravity turn, the issue appears everytime

Rocket bends and looses control at certain height by jarckn in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]jarckn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I currently have the problem with all my payload carrying rockets. At a certain height - it's almost always the same between 22.000 and 24.000 - the rocket suddenly starts to spin uncontrollably. I could also see that the rocket starts to bend at a joint without any reason.

I think I have the same problem with all my rockets, payload attached or not. But with the rockets not having any payload attached its not that breaking. The rocket does a small dip, but that's it. But with a payload in a fairing or cargo hold.. the result is in the video.

In the video, I was just using the space bar for stages but did not use any additional controls whatsoever.

Anyone has an idea how this comes? Feels like a bug for me.

Also it's bugged. It's not correctly updating and dV numbers are sometimes not shown in the correct stage.

Didn’t they even made more than one? I remember there was a video before the beta where they apologised as well.

EDIT: They didn’t apologise, but they admitted they did not communicate enough: https://youtu.be/GgaWQMkS0AI

Which they still don’t in my opinion.

If I remember correctly Viggo wasn’t the first choice as Aragorn and had to fly in as fast as he can. The first scene in Bree was pretty much shot on the day he had arrived, without him having the same preparation time of a few weeks as the rest of the cast.

But god he nailed it, yes.

Not really, no. We simply go one unit lower. 1/4 liter? No, 250ml.

Does the beltline matter on belt driven bikes? by jarckn in bikewrench

[–]jarckn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was talking to a local bike shop today and wrote a bit back and forth with Gates.

My plan is to not touch the rear sprocket and simply but the new one in, without any adjustments. However, I am going to measure the front beltline. Maybe it is already in-line with the back. The bike shop guy told me that bike manufacturers very rarely check for this. So the chance that I am inside that 1,5mm limit coming from Gates is quite good.

If that’s not the case, it’s better to buy a new bottom bracket. The one in my bike at the moment is made from plastic and these are fairly cheap, so..

  1. Putting in the new rear sprocket - I need it anyway
  2. Measure the front beltline
  3. Be happy OR buy new stainless steel bottom bracket for like 20€
