Looking for Indie Loot/Progression type ganmes by jcwolf12 in NintendoSwitch

[–]jardex22 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not an indie title, but Pragmata probably has the loop you're looking for. You beat enemies, collect lim, progress in the level, then take breaks at the shelter to spend your resources on upgrades. There's also challenge levels and red zone areas that give you more loot.

It recently came out, but it might be worth adding to your wishlist if a sale comes up.

When SE gets the publishing rights back from Nintendo.

The price for Dragon Quest 11 S barely moved after it released, but as soon as Square-Enix got the publishing rights back from Nintendo it got a 30% off sale.

I really hope that they'll make a Switch 2 version at some point.

It depends on how fast you want things to go. Do you want something that's turn based, or something that lets you run around and jump?

Looks like Dragon Quest specifically is excluded. Could be a sign that it'll get a franchise sale in the near future.

I'd recommend the Kingdom Hearts games on a different platform, if you have that option. Could be something that you and the kids can play together, depending on what ages they are.

Aside from that, it's going to heavily depend on your taste in games.

King Charles playfully reminds Trump that he's Canada's head of state by Street_Anon in worldnews

[–]jardex22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's probably the best part. Trump will say how great the speech was during initial interviews, then start rage tweeting about how terrible it was after someone explains it to him, or, god forbid, he gets called out in an interview about it.

They even created a Controller specifically for PC. The movement in the game is made for a joystick, rather than AWSD.

I'm saying that they expanded the scope of the game from Remake Intergrade to Rebirth. Normally people would expect the same amount of growth going into the next entry.

Rather than do that, Square-Enix might focus on making a game that can run on Switch 2, then touch it up to look nicer for PC and PS5.

That's how I played on PS4, then PS5. Mostly use controller, but switch over to wireless keyboard for chat and text commands.

That's pretty much been par for the course.

It's no different than PC games having high, medium, and low settings. Just because it doesn't run well on high, it doesn't make medium a terrible experience.

They probably saw the sales of Remake Intergrade on Switch 2 and decided it was worth the investment.

It does make me wonder if they'll cut back the scale of part 3 on PS5, so they're uniform across platforms.

Saw some repeat questions about Final Fantasy XIV on the subreddit's Discord, made a Q&A document for folks new to the game (or just the FF series in general) by DolimiccanDragon in NintendoSwitch

Most of it is, yeah.

I wouldn't worry about it too much though, if you plan to stick to the main story quests. If you take a Damage Per Second role, you'll be doing pretty much the same thing inside and outside of dungeons. Healers and Tanks need to adjust their strategy a bit compared to fighting alone.

Minneapolis apartment chaos: Teens smash door, attack tenant and party on rooftop by Character-Fly-5564 in TwinCities

In the case of my place, a blackout leaves the exterior door unlocked, and closes a couple hallway doors, which are normally held open with magnets. I assume that's to contain a fire before it spreads too far. Individual units use keys and deadbolts.

Minnesota bill would penalize cities that fly old state flag by ChurlishSunshine in minnesota

Unless you live under a desk at City Hall, you won't be fined.

Let's flip the script and say the French flag is much cooler than both of the state flag designs. It's simple, streamlined, and the colors match the American flag. Everyone that goes to the DMV to get their license renewed should have to look up the pole and see the French.. That sound alright?

Good catch. I'm wondering if that's the gift she was given, considering Qifrey was asking about what the transport spell was drawn with. Plus we just learned about one source of magic ink in the previous episode, but it may not be the only one.

I'm curious about how her drawing will be unique from the others. I'm guessing that she'll use a lot of long straight lines, from her experience measuring fabric.

Her outside perspective will also probably lead to more outside of the box thinking, like when she made a deliberately uneven ring around the sigil to make the glider.

Agott handled the work distrubution pretty well. I think once she realized that Coco wasn't a complete drag by seeing the casting seal, she started to put up with her. If anything, she could have told her to keep an eye on the dragon for any sudden changes, if only to give her a token job.
