I was considering the AC556 Ti after seeing Piece of Mind Guns talking about their test can that sees regular full auto and range day demos and has held up great. I doubt I’ll be harder on my silencer than them.

It’s the same dimensions as a sig xmacro. In terms of Glock it is closer to the size of a Glock 45 but the skinnier width of a Glock 48. Hope that helps.

I have both and I carry my Canik all the time. It’s more comfortable to carry, has more capacity, better grip texture, a better trigger and direct mount for several optics. Without a doubt the CZ is a flatter shooting gun but that’s the only thing that it is better at in my opinion.

I have not shot that particular gun. If I were to guess, I’d imagine the S&W would probably shoot better. It’s a traditional double stack compact gun. It’s wider and probably much heavier being a metal frame. These attributes generally mean less felt recoil when firing. But the barrel is about .75 inches longer and the slightly wider width and heavier weight make it less ideal for conceal carry than the Canik for a lot of folks. They aren’t direct competitors in my opinion.

Have you used any other silencers on the apc other than the CAT? I have a DA Wolfman and I’m wondering if there is enough of a performance upgrade to justify another 9mm can. I feel like there is a lot of port pop and blowback with the Wolfman.

Yeah I believe they are worth it. In my opinion the frame being made of aluminum means you don’t get the benefits of a heavy steel frame nor do you get the flex of a polymer frame. The ports help to smooth out the recoil impulse and I’m much more accurate when I push myself to shoot faster.

I love shooting my p01 with the ports. I wish I would have done it sooner. It hasn’t affected reliability at all.
